Sweepstakes Period: The 2016 SEMA ‘Can you fix it’ Encore Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) begins November 1, 2016, at the start of the SEMA Show, Las Vegas Convention Center, Las Vegas, NV (“Convention”) (approximately 9:00am PST) and ends at the close of the Convention on November 4, 2016 (approximately 4:00pm PST) (the Sweepstakes Period”).
ELIGIBILITY: The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are at least twenty-one (21) years old at the time of entry. Employees of Bosch Automotive Service Solutions Inc. (“Sponsor”) and their immediate family members (parents, children, siblings or spouse, regardless of where they live) or person living in the same household (whether related or not) and its affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies are not eligible to participate. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, municipal and local laws and regulations.
HOW TO ENTER: To enter the Sweepstakes, visit the Sponsor booth #10171 at the Convention (“Sponsor Booth”), during the Sweepstakes Period and complete the entry form at the gaming kiosk completely and play the “Can You Fix It? Challenge” and if you answer correctly, you will automatically be entered into the drawing for that day. Individuals may play the “Can You Fix It? Challenge” more than once, however, there is a limit of one entry per person per day.
DRAWING: One (1) winner will be selected from all eligible entrants received each day during the Sweepstakes Period for a total of four (4) drawings. Drawings will be held on or about 11:00am EST. for all eligible entrants from the prior day. Each potential winner will be randomly selected by the Sponsor. The odds of winning are dependent upon the total number of entries received. The Sponsor will notify the potential winners via phone or email, by Monday November, 14, 2016.
PRIZES: One (1) OTC Encore Diagnostic System (p/n 3893) (approximate retail value: $2,350) will be awarded to four (4) winners. Approximate total retail value of all prizes: $9,400.00.
Approximate retail value is at the time the rules were printed, and the value of the prize may fluctuate. No substitution, assignment or transfer of a prize is permitted, except by Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a prize with another prize of greater or equal value, including cash, if a prize is not available for any reason as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Winner is solely and fully responsible for any and all costs, fees, taxes, assessments and expenses associated with prize award, receipt and use except for transportation costs to ship the prize to the winner within the continental United States.
PRIZE CONDITIONS: Potential winners must provide their shipping information within seven (7) days of initial contact from Sponsor. If a potential winner fails to respond within seven (7) days, such potential winner forfeits the right to the prize (without compensation of any kind) and another potential winner will be selected from among all remaining eligible entries received. Potential winners may be required to produce proof of identity, address, and birth date, and may be required to execute and return certain winner documents (as applicable), including an affidavit of eligibility, a liability and publicity release, and tax acknowledgment form. Failure to return any required documents within fourteen (14) days may also result in the selection of an alternate winner or Sponsor’s decision not to award the prize. Except where legally prohibited, potential winners grants (and agrees to confirm in writing) permission for the Sponsor to use his/her name, likeness, biographical information, voice and other indicia of persona in advertising/trade/Promotional/publicity materials worldwide without notice or additional compensation. Prizes will be handed out at the Convention if potential winner is present or shipped to the potential winner within six (6) weeks of Sponsor’s receipt of the winner’s information
PRIVACY: Information collected from the entrants is subject to Sponsor’s privacy policy found at http://www.otctools.com/about/privacy-policy.
Information received from entrants may also be used by Sponsor to e-mail entrants information regarding product offers, promotions and special events, but only in the event that entrants expressly, knowingly, and affirmatively agree to be so contacted.
GENERAL: By participating, entrants agree: (a) to be bound by and accepts these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor (including, without limitation, decisions regarding eligibility of entries, the selection of entrants and winners, and the awarding of prizes), which are final and binding in all respects; and (b) to forever and irrevocably release and hold harmless Sponsor, its subsidiaries, divisions and affiliates, and their respective agents, affiliates, employees, officers, directors, and shareholders from and against all claims, damages or liabilities arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from entrant’s participation and/or entry in this promotion and/or entrant’s award, receipt or use of any prize awarded in this promotion. Sponsor makes no warranty, representation or guarantee on the prizes. If, for any reason, this promotion is not able to be conducted as planned, including, but not limited to, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of the promotion and randomly draw the winner from those eligible entries received up to the cancellation/suspension date.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: Sponsor is not responsible for (a) incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information or late, lost, stolen, unintelligible, damaged, mutilated, altered, incomplete or misdirected entries or entries received through impermissible or illegitimate channels, all of which will be disqualified, (b) printing, typographical, electronic or human errors which may occur in the offer or administration of this promotion, or the processing of entries, (c) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in this promotion; or (d) failure of entrant to attend the scheduled simulation time.
VENUE/JURISDICTION: EACH ENTRANT HEREBY IRREVOCABLY CONSENTS AND SUBMITS TO THE EXCLUSIVE JURISDICTION OF THE STATE AND FEDERAL COURTS, AS APPLICABLE, LOCATED WITHIN OAKLAND COUNTY, MICHIGAN IN CONNECTION WITH ANY PROCEEDING ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THIS SWEEPSTAKES OR THE WAIVES ANY OBJECTION TO VENUE IN SUCH COURTS.
