The OTC 8327 Trans Dam Spring Compressor is for use in a hydraulic press to push on the low clutch sprag assembly and compress the low/reverse clutch spring for removal of the clutch spring retaining ring. After the clutch is serviced, the tool is again used to compress the spring and reinstall the retaining ring. Similar to DT-48903.

Applications: 2011-Later 5ET50 and 6L45 GM transmissions including 2016-2019 Chevrolet Volt.
