Clutch Travel and Load Tool Kit

The OTC 8335 Clutch Travel and Load Tool Kit is designed to apply various load pressures on clutch pack assemblies for travel checks. The clutch pack is placed into the fixture and the forcing screw is adjusted until the pressure gauge reads the proper load for the clutch pack assembly. This flattens the pack assembly and forces out any air trapped between the discs and backing plates. A dial indicator can then be set up and shop air supplied to the clutch pack to check for proper travel, per the clutch pack specification. Similar to DT-50900, DT-50903, DT-50905.

Applications: 2016-Later 5ET50, 8L45, and 8L90 GM transmissions including 2016-2019 Chevrolet Volt.
