17-1/2 Center-Hole, Power Twin® Ram

• Single-acting hydraulic ram. Complete with No. 21669 threaded ram head insert, ram attaching screws, and No. 9796 ram half coupler.

• Center-hole ram is ideal for jobs that require a great deal of force and a relatively short stroke. Compared to the force it develops, each center-hole Power Twin ram is lightweight, compact, and easy to handle, permitting its use in confined quarters. Center-hole feature permits extending jacking screws, cables, puller screws, etc., straight through the ram.

Quick change insert for added job versatility, the Power Twin ram also feature a basic head which allows the operator to change from a tapped hole to a plain hole by merely changing the head insert (held in place by a socket-head set screw). In certain applications, the use of a plain insert is desired, since it permits using a speed nut for necessary readjustment after the ram has been extended, rather than turning the screw with a speed crank.
